"Better than toastmasters" is how one student put it to us and we've run with it. Improv comedy is a hidden gem for building self-confidence and unleashing your hidden creativity. It's like a defibrillator for your brain, shaking out all our modern concerns and pushing you into the moment.

Our specialized improv lessons are inspired by Just for Laughs, Second City and Shut The Front Door. Our curriculum is focused on fun and maximizing mental health benefits. There is no show at the end of our courses. Our priority is on preparing you for the stage of life.
Helping The Arts
The arts keep us human. Through art, we feel the world together, find connections, make things better. We need a strong arts and culture scene to to keep hope alive. RWCI is dedicated to helping maintain that vision.

Improv comedy, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started. At Railway City Improv our classes are customized to prepare you for the stage of life.
